What information is collected?

Tablehound.com is the sole owner of the information collected on its Website. We will not sell, share or rent this information to others in without first obtaining your consent.

Registered Users

When a customer joins Tablehound.com we collect information to provide customized service, to deliver dining certificates and other communications via email and to allow our customers to access and manage their Tablehound.com purchases and requests. (Please note that dining certificates are delivered via mail so a valid mail address is required.) We collect some or all of the following information:

Full Name, Email Address, Password, Address, City, State, Zip Code, Phone Number, Tablehound.com Gift Certificate purchases, Reservation Requests and Customer Service Correspondence

Information required to become a registered user includes name, password, email address and telephone number. All users have the option not to receive emails from Tablehound.com (and/or from Tablehound.com restaurant partners), other than automated service messages concerning an order, request or dining survey.

Some of our services may be offered in conjunction with partner restaurants with which we work. In order for us to provide these services to you, it may be necessary for us to share your personal information with one or more of the restaurants with which you have interacted. These trusted partners are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services. If you do not want your data to be shared, you can choose not to allow the transfer by not using that particular service.

Online Reservations

If you choose to make an online reservation using Tablehound.com it is required that you are a registered user of Tablehound.com and you will need to provide your name, phone number, email address, requested reservation date and time along with the number of people in the party. (For best results, make your reservation during the restaurant's regular hours of operation.) The restaurant has the option to contact you about the reservation; this call may be recorded for training and quality control.

Your Tablehound.com Account (Correction/Updating Personal Information)

You may access your account through the "My Account" link. There you will be able to manage your email preferences, and update your contact information.

Email Preferences/Opt-out

We send out two types of emails - transactional and promotional. Our users are given the opportunity to "opt-out" of receiving promotional communications from Tablehound.com by sending an email with the information to update to info@Tablehound.com.

Transactional emails

Transactional emails include registration, confirmation, account update, customer service, restaurant surveys and other communications that Tablehound.com needs to reach our customers concerning their account, requests or purchases. This does not include any promotional communications, such as sales or specials. You may not opt out of these transactional communications. These emails will all be sent from a Tablehound.com address, or from our eCommerce partners at www.authorize.net.

Promotional emails

Promotional emails are sent to customers who opted into our email list. This option is provided when registering with Tablehound.com. These emails share exclusive sales and offers with our users and will be sent from Tablehound.com.

If you are having trouble receiving these emails first check your spam/junk folder. Occasionally emails can mistakenly end up in your spam/junk folder; it may help to add Tablehound.com to your address book. You can also email info@Tablehound.com and have us check to make sure you are still on the list, be sure to include your email address.

If you have opted-in to receive promotional emails you may opt out of these promotional emails at any time by sending an email with their request to info@Tablehound.com

Customer Service Correspondence

If you send us correspondence, including emails and letters, we may retain such information in the records of your account. We may also retain customer service correspondence and other correspondence from Tablehound.com to you. We retain these records in order to measure and improve our customer service, and to investigate potential fraud and violations of our Terms of Use Agreement. We may disclose or share aggregated demographic information with our restaurant partners and affiliates, however, except as described above, this is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person or company. In addition, Tablehound.com may disclose account or other personal information when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with Tablehound.com's rights or property, other Website users or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

As with any other business, it is possible that Tablehound.com in the future could merge with or be acquired by another company. Restaurant Surveys and Access to Information

For purposes of allowing targeted marketing, restaurant owners are provided with access to the name and email information for each purchaser of a Tablehound.com dining certificate for their restaurant once such certificate has been validated. After you have used your dining certificate you may be invited to take a survey to provide feedback to the restaurant about your dining experience. These survey results will be provided to the restaurant. If you choose to leave added comments the restaurant will be provided with your name and email address along with your comment so they may follow-up if necessary.
